I don’t have an exact opening date but the signs are up and they’re hiring employees so an opening date for Naked Pizza in Louisville should be pretty soon. With Spinelli’s opening up a location just a couple blocks away is St. Matthews going to be the next pizza battleground (comparable to the stretch of [...]

On my way to Whole Foods this morning I saw life in the former Snappy Tomato location on Shelbyville Road near Trinity high school. Well actually what I saw are a whole buch of windows painted indicating that Spinelli’s will be opening soon in that location and will be offering their signature until 5AM delivery.

I love that the Rainbow Blossom folks throw so many parties and events. This Sunday they’re throwing a party to celebrate the 4th anniversary of their Sunday Farmers Market. Along with our regular cool farmers market vendors, we’ll have henna tattoos (ala Vinnie at Twisted Images), Louisville Photo Booth, non-profit/grassroots groups, Edible Louisville mag will [...]

Chop Shop Salads the hopping salad shop that opened downtown last year is opening a St. Matthews location, near the triangle of death intersection of Breckenridge Lane, Shelbyville Road, Chenoweth Lane. It starts at noon and goes [...]

Music, fair trade food and drink, flowers and gifts to buy as very last minute Mother’s Day gifts as well. A sampling of the businesses [...]

Whole Foods has a nice project going on tomorrow that will allow you to recycle old computers and other tech gear for free. Just show up between 10AM-3PM with your old and (optionally) busted stuff and they’ll take care of recycling it. Note that they’ll be accepting lots of stuff (laptops, CPUs, DVDs, cables, memory [...]

It’s April 14, that means your taxes are due tomorrow. Whole Foods suspects there are just a few of us who have maybe possibly waited until the last minute to get all of our tax stuff done. So to give us a little nudge to keep going they’re giving away free coffee today. Stop by [...]
