Let’s first pause and reflect on how wonderful it is that we have a thing called “Moonshine University” in our city. Isn’t it very wonderful? Yes, yes it is.
On Saturday March 9, 2013 Moonshine University (which is actually at the Distilled Spirits Epicenter on 8th Street) is hosting a bourbon enthusiast class. The class is going to focus on the different flavor profiles in bourbon(s) and exploring “the art of the bourbon cocktail.” I think that means you’re going to learn to make some kick ass bourbon cocktails which you should invite me over to try after you master them.
Class participants will enjoy sensory evaluations and cocktail demonstrations featuring a variety of bourbons. Sullivan University’s beverage management chair professor Albert Schmid will be a special guest instructor.
