I’ve had several friends either tell me about or post to various social media sites about their experience with the Actors Theatre production of Long Day’s Journey Into Night. Every single one has found it to be a challenging and rewarding experience. In others words they all think you should go see it.
Join us for the final performances of Long Day’s Journey into Night as Les Waters directs this epic yet powerfully intimate, Pulitzer Prize-winning play about a family confronting a sea of regret and longing, haunted by the past. Over the course of one fateful summer day, renowned actor James Tyrone, his troubled wife Mary and their two sons wrestle with resentment so deep—and a love so fierce—that it threatens to consume them. O’Neill’s play is both a poem of forgiveness to his own family, and one of the legendary achievements of American drama.
To ensure that everyone throughout the entire community is able to experience this theatrical masterpiece, we would like to extend a $20 ticket offer to anyone in the community for the remaining performances through October 28 – any performance, any seat!
To take advantage of this $20 offer just call the Actors Box Office at 584-1205. There are shows at 8PM tonight, and tomorrow. On Saturday there is a show at 4:30 and one at 8:30PM. The final show on Sunday is at 7:30PM.
