“World Book Night is a celebration of reading and books which will see tens of thousands of people share books with others in their communities across America to spread the joy and love of reading on April 23.” That sounds pretty nice right? Well you can participate in it here in Louisville.

Monday April 23 is World Book Night, designed to encourage light readers to discover the love of literature! Community volunteers will give out free special World Book Night Editions of several popular titles. For more information, go to www.worldbooknight.org. One Louisville area volunteer, Angie Boggs, will be at City Girl Farm Coffee, 4600 Shelbyville Rd, with copies of Maya Angelou’s classic “I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings” from 6:30-8:30 pm or while supplies last!

Yay Maya Angelou and yay sharing good books!
