Being someone who does not eat any pork products I am not at all sure what all takes place at a Bacon Ball. Best I can tell folks eat a lot of bacon that was prepared in creative ways by some of our city’s most creative chefs. And apparently last year’s Bacon Ball was such a grand success this year’s is going to be even bigger and better.
With such an unexpected turnout last year, we’re making some changes to make sure everyone enjoys the evening. There will be more restaurants involved in the Bacon King Competition, a 3500 sq. ft. tent for all the bacon tasting your heart desires, music and dancing on the back patio, fun art activities for all who are interested, as well as the piggy bank and gift basket silent auction.

Full disclosure: Thanks to our developer, Jeffrey Jackson’s generosity Menu and Hours is a sponsor of the Bacon Ball. Yes, there is some sort of comic irony of a Jewish girl who keeps kosher sponsoring something called “The Bacon Ball.”
