Beyond 264

We’ve had a small raised bed garden for two years now but I’m not terribly proud of it. Basically it’s been a pretty outpost for very productive tomato plants and not much else (excepting a few peppers, cucumbers and radishes). B is definitely the gardener in the family but with her limited time for gardening she is much more flower and landscape focused. So I’d really like to step up my vegetable gardening game. This class coming up next Saturday at Yew Dell Garden seems like it would surely be a good first step at helping me do that.

Here’s a great chance to give your 2012 vegetable garden a shining start. Spend a morning with lifelong vegetable gardener and Yew Dell’s new Garden manager Ann Mattingly to plan a garden that will be all you want it to be. Whether you are a beginner or advanced garden geek, there is always plenty to learn. Ann will cover crop selection, layouts to maximize productivity and minimize maintenance and a whole lot more.
