Locust Grove Accepting Book Donations for 8th Annual Used Book Sale

February 20, 2012

Books

Locust Grove’s Annual Used Book Sale is coming up during the first weekend of March. I’ve already donated two boxes of books to the sale this year and I think I’m going to have a third one to donate by the end of the week so I know there are going to be some very excellent books there for the buying. They are still accepting donations so if you’d like to make room for new books on your shelves this is an excellent opportunity to do so. Contact Locust Grove for more information on donating. In my experience they’ll come pick the books up from you, so all you have to do is make your peace with letting the books go.

More than 14,000 used, antiquarian, and new books in all categories will be offered for sale. Categories include history, biography, mysteries, reference, science fiction, travel, cookbooks, children’s, spirituality, Kentucky, romance, crafts, and much more. Prices begin at $1 for paperbacks, and $2 for most hardcovers; with a selection of illustrated books, rare books, and sets, priced individually. All books are sorted by category and are in good condition. Because of the volume of donations, books will be added to the display during the sale.
