Did you know that InKY is no longer InKY and is now Louisville Literary Arts? Me either. But it is and they’re throwing a really cool festival next weekend called “The Writer’s Block.” The subtitle is “A celebration of writing, reading and print.” That’s a celebration I can endorse whole heartedly.
The Writer’s Block Festival, October 14-15, 2011, is for writers, readers, and book lovers, sponsored by Louisville Literary Arts (formerly InKY, Inc.).
So what’s this festival look like any way? Featuring a diverse offering of panels, workshops, readings, antics, and a day-long print fair, The Writer’s Block Festival has something for everyone.
A variety of readings will occur during the festival, beginning with our InKY Reading Series event on Friday night, and a closing night event where patrons can share their own work. All readings are FREE and open to the community, but you must secure your free ticket for the keynote reading.
Check out the full schedule of events for details about all the panels and the paid seminars/workshops, etc.
