During IdeaFestival I was given an incredible opportunity by the Louisville Convention and Visitors Bureau to dine at the chef’s table at The Brown Hotel with some out of town new media rockstars like Baratunde Thurston and CC Chapman and local awesome people like Melissa from Loueyville. It was an incredible evening as executive chef Laurent Géroli cooked for us and entertained us with his charm and good stories. We Blog the World has some great photos and videos of that night if you’re interested.
I’m telling you this so you’ll understand why I’m telling you about a really expensive ($149 per person) dinner: dining at the chef’s table at The Brown Hotel isn’t just a meal, it’s an experience. One that is totally worth the price. The really expensive dinner in question is the “Not Your Mama’s Sunday Dinner” that is being hosted by an organization called Bourbon Women.
Spend an informative, entertaining and delicious evening in the kitchen at The Brown Hotel as executive chef Laurent Géroli creates special dishes using Heaven Hill bourbon. The Kentucky Fall Harvest themed event takes place on Wednesday, Nov 10 at 6:30 p.m. Guests will also learn how to create bourbon cocktails to pair with each dish. The cost of the five-course dinner and cocktail pairings is $99 per person for Bourbon Women members and $149 for non-members.
I know this is really expensive but like I said it’s a a full-on entertainment experience, not just a meal. Space is limited at this event to 20 people so if you’re interested you should contact contact Nick Vaccaro at email@example.com or 502.456.1851 X2 to make your reservation now.
