Food trucks have certainly grown up quickly in our town haven’t they? Here’s yet another occasion for you to sample several of them all at once. As part of First Friday awesomeness there’s going to be a “Food Truck Round-Up” downtown.
Come join us for the 1st Food Truck Round-Up! Be a part of the booming Food Truck scene in Louisville and try out some of the truck you’ve been stalking but haven’t caught on the street yet. Oct. 7th @ the Main St. Gardens located on the corner of Main & Campbell. Catch Holy Mole, Lil Cheezers, The San Diego Sandwich Works, Morels, Busta Grill and more! Happening during the First Friday Trolley Hop downtown, it’s sure to be a good time! See you then!
And if you do go to the Food Truck Round-Up make sure to get a slice from MozzaPi. MozzaPi is participating in Slice of Hope a breast cancer research fundraising initiative from the pizza industry.
In addition to the percentage of sales being donated, the MozzaPi truck will be offering their signature dessert – S’mores – free with a donation to the cause.
October 7th has been designated as a National Pizza Party Day by Slice of Hope, a pizza industry charitable initiative. Slice of Hope has banded together pizzerias from across the nation in an effort to fight this invasive disease. Slice of Hope is spearheaded by Pizza Today magazine editor Jeremy White. White, Pizza Today publisher Pete Lachapelle and a small team of cyclists will bike from Portland, Ore. to Seattle, Wash., Oct. 4-7 to raise awareness for Slice of Hope’s fight against breast cancer. On Oct. 7, pizzerias across the nation — including MozzaPi — will donate funds to the Karen Mullen Breast Cancer Foundation, which has committed to giving 100 percent of the Slice of Hope proceeds to a handful of the nation’s leading breast cancer research labs.
