Here’s what I know:
Gabe Sowder, former chef de cuisine of 610 Magnolia is ready to leave the fine dining world and enter an underserved sector of the restaurant industry: gourmet, local, quick service, fun food. Look for amazing tacos, sides and soups made from local sources along with a beer and wine menu. Weekend brunch will soon follow! Within a year a food truck service is also in the works.

Here’s what I think:
I also think “dude, Louisville is becoming a street food town and that is so very awesome.”
The first occasion to taste Taco Punk’s tacos (to my knowledge) is Saturday April 16 at the brand new Douglass Loop Farmers Market. I’ll tell you more about that market soon but in the meantime all you need to know is it’s taking place in the church parking lot at the corner of Bardstown Road and Douglass Blvd. Taco Punk will be selling breakfast and lunch tacos.
