Ready to Try Out the Grilled Cheese Truck?

Lil Cheezers the “gourmet grilled cheesemobile” that the internet has been whispering about for a while is going to be in the ear X-tacy parking lot this afternoon to fill your belly after you wonderful live music from The Civil Wars. According to their Facebook page they’re going to be there this weekend too. Mmmmmm might have to walk up on Sunday and check it out. You know, research it for y’all.

This is NOT the grilled cheese you remember on snack days at moms. Thick cut wheatberry bread, a variety of quality cheeses, veggies, meats, desert sandwiches all purchased locally whenever possible.

We will be at Ear-X-Tacy on Wednesday from 4:00-5:30pm there is an in-store performance by The Civil Wars. Also on Friday from 5:30 to 10pm Cage the Elephant is playing from 5:30-7:00pm and then a later show with two bands from about 8:00pm-10pm. Come on out and enjoy some awesome music and food.

    Until Morels Vegan Food Truck comes into existence, Lil Cheezers has vegan options, too. I had the vegan burger last weekend and it was delicious.

    Thanks for the shout and Sam thanks for the huge compliment. I am working with Stan this week to get his truck operational. Shouldnt be too much longer.

    I am currently scouting locations for a POD which will be a home for all the food trucks, trailers and carts popping up locally. It will give us a location around either UofL or the Highlands that can be a rotating choice of food 24/7.

    I want street food to blow up around here. I am giving it all the shove I can.
