On Friday evening I was to be a guest for Shabbat dinner. The hostess didn’t want me to bring any of my delicious baked goods for dessert (I know, can you believe it?). Since she is a gardener who absolutely adores flowers and I wouldn’t dream of showing up empty handed a bouquet of flowers was required. I’m not much of a flower person myself so it’s not like I have a go-to florist. So I decided to try my neighborhood flower shop: Pinotti’s Flower Market.
I stopped by Friday afternoon after work and got a bright, beautiful bouquet that the recipient absolutely loved. And what’s not to love? Look at it:
Here’s the kicker though, that beautiful bunch of flowers? $12. Seriously. They put it together for me while I waited, were very nice and it just cost $12. I’m thinking that makes them the “best place to pickup a nice surprise for your partner/spouse/mother/best friend” on the way home from work. They even have a parking lot so you don’t have to worry about parking on Bardstown Road during no-parking hours.

Thanks for the great suggestion, Michelle! I had been to another location years ago but went to the Pinotti’s on Bardstown for the first time today. Beautiful flowers, wonderful & friendly service, reasonable prices. I will definitely be a repeat customer!

I stopped by Pinotti’s last week to pick up some “just because” flowers for my partner. I knew a few things I wanted as part of the arrangement and knew how much I wanted to spend. When I explained “I’ve got no game here–I need help with the rest!” they were very happy to finishing putting the arrangement together. The flowers were (still are) beautiful, very much worth the price I paid, and my partner was pleased! I will also be a repeat customer!

They are doing the flowers for my wedding next weekend and Roger has been absolutely amazing to work with! I can’t wait to see how it comes out. Everything I’ve bought from there has been beautiful, long lasting and inexpensive! It’s a place I truly enjoy doing business
