Midnights at the Baxter: Hedwig and the Angry Inch (April 10, 2010)

I’ve never seen this movie so I don’t have much to say about it. So let’s quote our friends from Wikipedia: “Hedwig and the Angry Inch is a 2001 American musical film based on the stage musical of the same title about a fictional rock and roll band fronted by an East German transsexual singer. The film was adapted and directed by John Cameron Mitchell, who also portrayed the title role. The music and lyrics are by Stephen Trask. The musical has gathered a devoted cult following similar to that of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.”

Got that?

Added bonus: those in attendance will be treated to a sneak preview of the Alley Theater’s production of Hedwig which opens 4/23 and stars Scott Anthony!
