I instantly loved the poster for this year’s Human Festival. It’s just so cool. So I’m pretty excited to tell you that you have an opportunity to attend a lecture by the designer who created it.
Richard Wilkinson was born and lived his young life on the south coast of England. After studying Fine Art at college, he moved to London where he now lives and works as an artist and illustrator. Richard is represented in the UK by Central Illustration Agency and by Bernstein & Andruilli in the USA. Some of his eminent clients include Time Magazine, GQ, Vodafone, Penguin Books and The Telegraph. Richard Wilkinson recently illustrated the identity for the 2010 Humana Festival of New American Plays poster.
The lecture and the preceding reception are happening at the Green Building on March 12. I will be taking my beloved to see Norah Jones in concert that evening so you go for me and take good notes.
The LGDA, who is sponsoring the event, very passionately asks that you please RSVP for the event since the Green Building has limited seating. Please RSVP to: firstname.lastname@example.org
