This event has been cancelled but I’m told they plan to reschedule it for Spring 2010

If you love architecture, history and Louisville then Locust Grove has just the lecture for you next Sunday January 31, 2010.

Noted local historian Samuel Thomas will speak about his most recent book, The Architectural History of Louisville 1778-1900. Using images from the book, Dr. Thomas will explore over a hundred years of Louisville’s rich architectural heritage, beginning with the city’s inception. Books will be available for sale, and the author will sign them for you.

Admission is $5, $3 for Friends of Historic Locust Grove. Light refreshments served.

Michelle, thanks for publishing this … but we actually had to cancel this event. Too bad, because the subject matter sounds interesting.

It’s my understanding the instructor had a conflict and that it’ll be rescheduled, however. I’ll be sure to let you and your readers know when that date is made!

    Thanks again!

    Jon
