My most coveted toy as a child was (no doubt) the Lego Pirate Ship!

Best gift ever was a cassette player / recorder when I was 8. I used to sneak around the house recording people’s conversations and then play them back at dinner.

I loved dolls when I was younger, and when I was eight years old, I wanted this particular porcelain doll so bad. The doll wasn’t anything special or expensive, but it was by far my favorite gift Santa brought me.

The BEST present Santa ever left for me was a digital Qbert watch that you could play a mini version of Qbert on. *Love*

Get in Shape Girl dance bar (it hooked to any door). We went on a trip one year and my mom told me I couldn’t get it because we’d have to take it back with us on a plane – but they made it happen anyway. I loved that thing.

This fits under both categories. It was the toy I coveted most as a child and something Santa left under the tree (because at the time my parents never would have gotten me something this awesome!). It was a talkboy, one of the voice recorders as seen in Home Alone. I spent many hours doing who knows what with the thing, it never left my side.
