Last week we had lunch at Wild Eggs with a couple friends. We were almost finished with our meal when we saw the most glorious concoction of marshmallows and chocolate syrup float by to the table next to us. I hadn’t event noticed that Wild Eggs had hot chocolate on the menu. So of course I had to order a hot chocolate for dessert.
The hot chocolate was super super hot. It took forever to be cool enough to drink. It was frothy and had a pleasant enough chocolate flavor. The real treat of this hot chocolate though is obvious in the picture: chocolate syrup and marshmallows. Of all the hot chocolates I’ve sampled lately this is the only one that has come with mini marshmallows and it was an absolute treat. There’s just something fun about mini marshmallows in your hot chocolate.
