Enjoy Boombozz Pizza, Help Friends of the Waterfront

OK you’ve got to print and take in a flyer to make the lunch time donation part of this happen (which is kind of lame and wasting paper-ish but whatever) but it’s worth it to help out the Friends of the Waterfront. And you get to eat awesome Boombozz pizza. Everybody is a winner in this scenario.

The second scenario is that you go to Boombozz during the hours of 5:30-7:30 and pay an admission price of $15 for a beer, wine and pizza tasting event and 100% of the net proceeds from that event will go to the Friends of the Waterfront. Again, win win.

The Friends of the Waterfront (FOTW), a non-profit auxiliary arm of the Waterfront Development Corporation, will be the recipient of a fundraiser day at the Tony Boombozz Taphouse on Wednesday November 18, 2009.  The Tony Boombozz Taphouse is located at the intersection of Bardstown Road and Eastern Parkway.

Friends of the Waterfront will receive proceeds when patrons present a flyer for dine in or carry out in between the hours of 11am – 4pm.  Patrons must bring the flyer to the restaurant with them.  It is available by downloading at http://www.friendsofthewaterfront.com/

There will also be a special beer, wine and pizza tasting event between the hours of 5:30pm – 7:30pm.  Friends of the Waterfront will receive 100% of net proceeds and the price of admission is $15 per person.

The Friends of the Waterfront is an all volunteer, 501 c3 organization.  Contributions to Friends of the Waterfront are used for waterfront programs and projects such as:
