Thanksgiving Cooking Class at The Brown Hotel

October 19, 2009

Downtown, Education, Food

I want to take this class but since B goes to visit her family for Thanksgiving and even if I was cooking Thanksgiving dinner it would be vegetarian so $75 is probably too steep for me to justify going but boy does it sound like a fun class. And I’m my knife and other basic kitchen skills are so bad the other students in the class would probably make fun of me.

Just because sometimes you need to tell the universe what you need I’d really like to take the following classes: Cake and Cupcake decorating, Basic Kitchen Skills and Beginning Bread Baking.

Learn how to perfect your favorite holiday dishes this fall at The Brown Hotel Thanksgiving Holiday Cooking Class. Hosted by The Brown Hotel’s executive chef Laurent Géroli, two classes are offered before Turkey Day: Friday, Nov. 6 and Thursday, Nov. 12. Students will get to feast as chef Géroli creates flavorful dishes such as sweet potato pancakes, brioche stuffing and more!  The chef will also have great tips and techniques on how to properly roast a turkey. Class begins at 7 p.m. and costs $75 per person, plus tax. Each class is limited to 12 people. To save a seat, please call (502) 583-1234, extension 7166
