HF Poster 2009.pngHow on earth could I not write about an event that has traditional craft demonstrations AND Brigid Kaelin performing? Clearly I had to tell you about it.

I got a nice email from the folks at Farmintgton giving me the scoop on their Harvest Festival:

“We have our annual Harvest Festival coming up on Sunday, October 11th from 12:00-5:00 p.m. Admission to the Festival is free, with charges for food and some activities. The event includes: Traditional Craft Demonstrations, Old Fashioned Games & Activities for Children, Pony Rides, Archeology Program, Story Telling, Food and Vendors, Free Tours of the Museum House & Grounds, and more. The Newburg Church of Christ Acapella Choir performs every year. New this year, there will also be performances by Johnny Berry, Brigid Kaelin and Danny Flanigan. BBC is on tap (pun intended) to provide beer. It really is a fun day, and boasts something for the whole family. It is also a Week in the Highlands event.”
