cnt reduced.pngYes kids you read that right. 21c Museum Hotel here in Louisville has been selected as the #1 hotel in the United States and #6 hotel in the world in the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards for 2009.

What a great, great accomplishment. Seriously. #1 in the United States and #6 in the world? Dude, that’s some serious bragging rights.

Congratulations to everyone at 21c. B and I were going to spend a night at 21c recently to celebrate our anniversary but she ended up being on call so we didn’t. I’m so bummed that I can’t say “oh yeah, I’ve stayed at the #1 hotel in the US.”

If you’re wondering what to get me for Hanukkah a gift certificate for a night at 21c would be a very fine idea.

Saw this the other day; truly incredible coup. Louisville has some current, ongoing power play. Friend of mine was commenting this morning on the new commercials/ad campaign Louisville has brilliantly marketed. Even said Neil Boortz was talking favorably about the commercials on 750 WSB. We actually had seen one on ESPN2 (or whatever station carried the UOFL vs. UOFK Football game early September). Concurrently, we were taken aback by the hillarity and brilliance of such original marketing campaign. Thought it will be a beautiful setup for now as well as the new arena (Pitin- O’Rena). Kudos. Makes me miss the ‘ville. As does Feedblitz! Ciao main.
