New Greek Food Option Coming to Frankfort Avenue

July 06, 2009

Food, Frankfort Avenue

I got a press release over the weekend with info about a new “Greek carry-out deli and
culinary training center” called It’s All Greek to Me. It’s not scheduled to open until Sunday July 19 but I’m excited about the prospect of some good Greek (vegetarian!) food so I’m going to go ahead and share the scoop from the press release.

It’s All Greek to Me will have a large variety
of Chef Maria’s popular fresh Greek specialties
available for carryout daily Monday – Thursday
10 a.m. – 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 10 p.m.,
and Sunday 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Most items will be available as vegetarian options
as well as with meat. Customized catering is
available with 24 hour notice. Free delivery will
be offered within a five mile radius.

Carryout items will include spanikopita, spanakotiropita,
eggplant dip, souvlaki, gyros, toubuli, falafel, Greek salad,
stuffed tomatos, stuffed grape leaves, soutzukakia smirneika.
keftedas, roasted red pepper dip, parsley salad, moussaka,
pastitsio, saganoki opa and many other daily signature specials.

Chef Maria’s first Greek Cooking Class in her new
location will be held on Saturday, July 25, from
4 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. The Vegetarian/Vegan Option
Cooking Class will be from 5:45 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.
that same evening.
