I am well aware that I kind of live in a Highlands/Frankfort Avenue/St. Matthews/Downtown bubble and thus the places within that bubble are the places I write about most here on Consuming Louisville. I’m also well aware that Louisville is a much bigger city than my little bubble and I need to expand my, and Consuming Louisville’s, horizons. That’s why I’m terribly pleased to announce that today I’m going on my first Consuming Louisville Neighborhood Tour. Haven Harrington is going to have lunch with me in his neighborhood and show/tell me about some of the cool things I’m missing out on by not spending more time in West End neighborhoods. I’m so excited.
I hope some of you, awesome Consuming Louisville readers, will volunteer to show me around and tell me about your neighborhood as well. I’ve got a volunteer for Old Louisville lined up but that’s about it. Beechmont? Where you at? Schnitzelburg? Who is stepping up? NuLu? Bring it.
I’m serious about trying to expand Consuming Louisville’s coverage of other parts of the city and I’m asking for your help to make this happen. Thanks in advance.
