Sunday Farmers Market and Multicultural Bazaar at JCFS

June 10, 2009

Culture, Food

Bazaar is one of those words I can never spell correctly on the first try. Now that I’ve shared that intellectual defect of mine we can move on to talk about how happy I am there is another Sunday Farmers Market in town. Particularly one that is throwing in multicultural events with it.

This new market at the JFCS offices (across from the JCC) starts this weekend and will run through October. It appears they plan to have different cultural programs each week. The one for this Sunday, June 14, is going to feature a Mexican dance group called Arcoiris Latino.

Sweet! I’m always happy to find out about more options for fresh produce; nothing tastes as good in the summer!
(pssst – there’s a typo at the end of that first paragraph. ;)
