I got a nice email from the folks at Breaking New Grounds telling me that they have some upcoming volunteer days. Volunteer opportunities come in two varieties. The first option is the tending the garden variety.
BNG’s garden needs to be tended, including weeding, watering and harvesting. If you would like to help on any of the dates and times below, send an email to tomese@insightbb.com. Tomese will contact you about bringing along tools that may be needed.
Thursday, June 11 10:30AM-1:3 PM
Monday, June 15 10:30AM-1:30PM
Wednesday, June 17 10:30AM-1:30PM
The second volunteer option is of the moving compost/worm bin building variety (um, ew).
The worm wranglers will be building additional worm bins, as well as moving compost. Contact Brian (logician@hyrusa.com) to let him know that you are interested in volunteering. He will contact you regarding whatever tools may be required.
