Making Louisville Better One Book at a Time

The LFPL folks (Greg Schwartz specifically) were kind enough to snap a picture of the books they received on Friday as part of our book drive. I thought it would be great to show this picture so you could see some of the tangible good you’re doing.

By my count on Friday alone they got 11 books they needed because you people are so very awesome!

So what do you say we keep the book drive going for one more week? One more week for you to buy books just in case you haven’t already. One more week to pass the link around to your family, your friends, your Facebook buddies and everyone else. Sound good? I think so. Oh and they’ve added more grown up books to the wishlist so if you didn’t want to buy kids books now is the time to make your move!

Go now and shop: LFPL Amazon Wishlist!

For those who already purchased books: you are completely and totally rock stars and I thank you.

Oh it’s great that you see books you bought! That’s exactly what I hoped would happen. Isn’t fantastic to see the tangible good you’ve done?

LFPL has “Go, Dog. Go!” and “The Great Gatsby” a-headin’ their way! Do you know how long they are going to keep their wish list up?

They’re going to keep up for the indefinite future. So if you decide in a couple weeks to do more book shopping there will definitely be some books for you to buy!
Thanks so much for participating. And I love the combo of fun kids book and classic American literature you chose.
