OK so I know I’m a crazy dog person but how can you not love this project?
The Church of the Advent (Episcopal) located at 901 Baxter in the Highlands will be opening an animal food bank to assist low income families/individuals who are faced with the choice of feeding their families or relinquishing their pet companions.
The food bank will be open on the fourth Saturday of each month beginning with the fourth Saturday in May.
You can’t not love this project, that’s the truth of the matter. We know how much the economy is effecting local businesses and families but sometimes we forget that those families include much beloved pets and that sometimes people need helping taking care of those four legged (and other….) family members as well. This is a wonderful project, thank you Church of the Advent for doing it.
