Update: I had the dates wrong on this. According to Metro Parks the proper dates for the golfing deal is for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday after 4:30 p.m
Family golfing is not my thing. I think I was like 14 the last time I played golf with any of my family members but that’s my issue and not yours. In any case this holiday weekend package from Metro Parks is a really good deal for families so I wanted to tell you about it.
For only $20, a family of up to four members can play 9 holes at any Metro Parks course. The $20 includes greens and carts fees, and families can take advantage of the deal after 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 23, Sunday, May 24 and Monday May 25.
Metro Parks golf courses are open from daylight to dark seven days a
week, and each course has a fully stocked pro shop. Private lessons are
available from a PGA Professional at each clubhouse. Metro Parks
operates 9-hole golf courses in Cherokee Park and Crescent Hill Park, along with Waverly Park’s Bobby Nichols Golf Course. There are 18-hole courses in Iroquois Park, Long Run Park, Seneca Park, Shawnee Park, Sun Valley Park and Charlie Vettiner Park. Hi Michelle! I erred when sending out this press release earlier this week. The golfing deal is for Saturday, Sunday, and Monday after 4:30 p.m. … not Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Thanks for publishing this … sorry about getting you the wrong information!
