Heads up people. If you’ve ever wanted to bike to work downtown but have been hesitant to try it on your own then Louisville Bike to Work Day is right up your alley. There are going to be three meet and ride locations across town. You meetup at the park and then joint commute downtown. You can see the maps. Check out the very good use Bike Louisville has made of google maps to map the route from each of the three parks.
The Meet & Ride locations will allow you to ride with many other riders and ride captains from the Louisville Bicycle Club! Then at lunch, from 11:30 until 1 p.m. at 4th Street Live! we’ll have our Bike to Work celebration where you can gather with other commuters and visit vendors to learn more about bicycle commuting and the city’s Bike Louisville program.
The three meetup locations are Seneca Park, Iroquois Park and Shawnee Park Shelter.
