Special Wine Dinner at 610 Magnolia Featuring James Beard Award Winner

March 03, 2009

Food, Wine

610 Magnolia is hosting what sounds like an outstanding event for foodies and wine lovers. It’s got a James Beard Award winning chef, a critic for The Wine Advocate and five courses to satisfy you with.

Chef Edward Lee and 610 Magnolia are proud to announce a special evening that brings together two of the brightest luminaries in the fine wine and dining world. Please join us in welcoming James Beard Award-winning Chef Celina Tio and The Wine Advocate’s David Schildknecht to Louisville as we take a journey through the elegance of Grower Champagnes to the lush wines of Catalan France. Chef Tio’s delicate and flawless cuisine is a perfect match for these intricate wines and, along with the team of 610 Magnolia, she will bring her cuisine to Louisville for a one-night only engagement.

Guests will be treated to a 5-Course Wine Dinner at 610 Magnolia conducted by Chef Tio and Schildknecht. But an ordinary wine dinner this is not. Mr. Schildknecht’s refreshing twist on the typical wine dinner concept will undoubtedly change the way you look at “wine pairings.” And the menu? James Beard Award recipient Celina Tio’s cuisine speaks loudly and clearly for itself and indeed her reputation and commitment to the finest cuisine precedes her wherever she travels. And luckily for us, she will be traveling to Louisville the night of March 25th.
