Please join activists, scholars, students, artists and others in the second annual LGBT Voices. This event seeks to help build a common voice of justice as we celebrate multiple perspectives in the LGBT movement. The night will feature spoken word, a digital storytelling project about Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, belly dancing by Taletha, and S.H.E.!, a women’s choreo-poetry group.
Those in attendance will get the opportunity to talk with a broad coalition of groups and organizations that will be tabling this event. The first LGBT Voices event in 2007 gathered approximately 100 people, this year we hope to exceed this number!!! Light refreshments.
