This seems like a pretty big deal and really, really interesting. I wish I’d known about it before. I’ve already made plans to attend the InKY’s High School Journal event. Too many good things on the same night!


Kentucky Waterways Alliance is proud to bring you the Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival, the largest environmental film festival in the nation. Join us for a night of inspirational environmental films that touch on important issues. The event will be emceed by Dave Shuffett, two time Emmy nominee and host of KET’s Kentucky Life. A Q & A session will also be held during the night with Mountain Top Removal filmmaker, Mike O’Connell and other environmental activists.

When: Saturday, February 7
Where: The Clifton Center, 2117 Payne Street, Louisville, KY
Time: Reception begins at 7 p.m./ Films start at 8 p.m.
Admission: $15/adult ticket and $12/children for film festival & $30/reception & film festival (price includes a KWA membership for one year, two drink tickets, appetizers provided by Ramsi’s Cafe on the World and one film festival admission ticket.)

KWA members get a free pass to the reception with purchase of film festival ticket. KWA members who bring a guest will get 1/2 off the price of a second ticket.
