…so your home-from-school kids don’t drive you absolutely crazy.
With massive power outages and schools closed as Kentuckiana recuperates from the ice storm that struck the area Tuesday, the Frazier International History Museum wants to offer families a warm (and free) place to get in from the cold.
On Thursday and Friday (January 29 & January 30, 2009), admission to the history museum is FREE. Family friendly activities, including historical games, fun crafts and touchable objects, will be offered from 12 to 4 p.m. each day. All museum galleries are open during regular hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
While here, the public is invited to visit the Sherlock Holmes & the Clocktower Mystery exhibit in its final days. This family friendly, entertaining and clever murder-mystery tests your powers of observation and deductive reasoning while exploring the sights, sounds and smells of turn-of-the-century London. Put on your thinking cap and help Victorian London’s most celebrated detective solve this baffling “whodunit!” Sherlock Holmes & the Clocktower Mystery closes February 15.
