I got a tip yesterday (thanks Denton!) that Restaurant.com has super deals on gift certificates again (or do they never go off sale?). Just like last time some great Louisville restaurants are included like Artemisia, Kashmir, North End Cafe, and more. Lot’s of $25 gift certificates available for $10. At anytime those are great deals but particularly in the current economic climate deals like these are a super welcome thing.

Has anyone bought and used any of these? It looks too good to be true.

I’ve purchased from restaurants.com before, and yes, it’s legit. Thanks for the tip Michelle!

I have used these before and they are real. Just be sure to check the restrictions so that you don’t end up buying a gift certificate you won’t use.

I haven’t tried it myself, but a google search of “restaurant.com scam” does not instill confidence.
Any problems with these unautorized charges from anyone else?

UPDATE: the unauthorized charges were for people who signed up for $10 off in order for a 30 day trial of this “shopping deals” membership which then charges $14.95 a month to your credit card. just be sure NOT to accept that offer. they are accredited by the Better Business Bureau online.
also with the code SANTA at checkout, you will get 80% off each gift certificate. no joke. i just bought 3 $25 north end cafe gift cards for $2 each. insanity.
