Restock Your Freezer Sale at Kentucky Bison Company

Downtown, Food

Joel, who runs the excellent blog State of the Commonwealth, left a comment yesterday on my post about affordable options for eating out. He reminded us that we can eat at home and still support out local food economy by buying locally raised and produced bison. And, since the Kentucky Bison Company is having a sale, we can do that in a more budget friendly way this week. Here’s his whole comment:

I would like to mention that another
affordable option is to eat at home. With that in mind, I’d also like
to mention that the Kentucky Bison Company (which is where I
work) is having a Restock Your Freezer 10% off sale on all retail sales
at our office at 603 E. Main Street in Louisville (at the corner of
Hancock Street, around the corner from Creation Gardens). The sale runs
until Friday, October 10th (that’s this Friday). The 10% off applies to
every cut and style of bison meat that we carry, and we carry a huge
number of items from tenderloin filets and ribeyes to roasts to our
breakfast sausage, burger patties, brats and frankfurters. We’re open
from 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday, and we accept cash, checks,
and all major credit cards.

Thanks for the tip Joel!
