You’ll recall from last year that I like seasonally appropriate drinks. This past winter I went with the Goodnight, Irene. This spring I mostly abstained from alcohol and this summer I’ve been bouncing back and forth between traditional whiskey sours and Cafe con Leche Martinis at Havana Rumba.
Now that fall is here I think the unfortunately named Broken Leg is
going to be my fall cocktail for 2008. I’ll be ordering it with Maker’s
instead of Jim Beam and I’ll be calling lounges in advance to let them
know to prepare the hot apple cider.
The image at right comes from Beam’s America’s Native Spirit site. I’d link to the actual page that has the recipe but the whole site is big flash thingamabob so linking to individual recipes is impossible. But you can read the recipe in the image and see how yummy it sounds for yourself.
