You know I’m a Mac fangirl right? I so am and I admit. My MacBook and my iPhone are deep and true loves of mine. I also love the iWork series (Pages, Keynote and Numbers). I very rarely use any Microsoft Office applications because iWork does just about everything I need and is much more nimble and less bloated than office. I don’t know a lot about Keynote though and I desperately need to learn more so I’m excited about this crazy affordable “Lunch & Learn” session that is being put on by The Louisville Graphic Design Association.
The Louisville Graphic Design Association (LGDA) will host a Lunch & Learn on Thursday, August 21, from 12:00pm-1:00pm at the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, 715 West Main Street in downtown Louisville. Scott Soeder, Apple, Inc. Campus Representative for UofL, will discuss Keynote ‘08 basics, as well as some advanced abilities. The event is free for LGDA members, $10 for non-members and $5 for students. The first 15 LGDA members to RSVP will receive a free box lunch created by the Wiltshire Pantry, and others with a reservation can purchase a lunch for $7.Attendees will also have the opportunity to win an Apple Training Series: iWork 08 Book with CD. Reservations are encouraged but not required. To RSVP email lgda.rsvp@gmail.com.
My only question is can I bring my own brown bag lunch in? $7 isn’t bad for a Wiltshire Pantry lunch but I’m kind of picky about my sandwiches. Man that last sentence made me sound like a whiner. Sorry.
An aside, how interesting that the LGDA website is hosted on Typepad yet they don’t have a blog. Fascinating.

So far as I know, you may bring your own lunch. Though Wiltshire Pantry’s food is typically AMAZING!
Hope to meet you there!
