Don’t tell me you aren’t familiar with rent parties. Seriously? You’ve never heard of a rent party? You’re obviously very lucky and special. For real, consider yourself lucky if you’ve never attended a rent party and even luckier still if you never had to throw one. But you feel left out don’t you? Don’t stress over it my friend, instead attend the “Raisin’ The Rent Party” fundraiser benefiting the St. John Center for Homeless Men. The event is part of the Frankfort Avenue Trolley Hop on Friday January 29, 2008.
The party starts at 7PM, entrance is $15. There will be music, dancing, food and a cash bar. No word on whether there will be any bathtub gin or homemade hooch.
