“When you feel like the only kid in town without a Christmas tree” don’t reach for Adam Sandler’s Hanukkah Song. Instead reach for Louisville musician Brigid Kaelin’s brand new country Chanukah tunes.
Hanukkah starts early this year, December 4 is the first night, so Kaelin went into the studio in mid-November to lock two Hanukkah themed singles for your holiday listening pleasure.
The tracks, Blue Dreidel No. 9 and Mazel Tonk, are available both for listening and purchase via Kaelin’s MySpace page. I’ve heard (but haven’t confirmed) that you can buy a CD with the tracks at ear X-tacy. If you do that you’ll be rewarded with a Chanukah card. Sweet!

In case any editors in the house want to call me on using multiple spellings of Hanukkah during the same post just know that it was intentional. When there is no one true spelling then all spellings should get equal love. Right?
