Guild elves are busy planning the Holiday Season with an another say
Hello to the Highlands and get Happy “Open House” celebration.
This
festival of shopping, eating, drinking and merriment is celebrating 22
years of bringing people from all walks of life together. This event
has become a highlight of the Holidays and The Highlands thank you for
spending Saturday, December 1st with them!
Boutiques,
eateries, and businesses all along Bardstown Road and Baxter Avenue
open their doors offering entertainment, food, drink, discounts,
entertainment and much, much more. Another holiday highlight is the
Trolley–two Trolleys filled with Elves will ride up and down the
corridor for an old-time family tradition!
Once again,
Bardstown Road Aglow will feature musicians singing, bagpipers booming
and shops a glowing.
Santa
is back this year and will be ready for a sit and pic at the Bearno’s
Highlands Winter Wonderland. All picture proceeds will benefit-Baptist
East Hospital’s “Buddies For Life” Foundation.”
It’s great that one Santa will be at Bearno’s but way, way more exciting is the re-emergence of the Santa Brigade.
Yes kids, it’s true. The Santa Brigade will dust off their santa suits
for an invasion of The Highlands on Bardstown Road on Saturday December
1st, 2007.The santas will be roaming the neighborhood during Bardstown Road Aglow.
There has been some discussion about rock and roll caroling.
